The information involved depends on which Paw Guide features you use.
Information you choose to provide
- Pet profile information, such as a pet’s name, species, breed, age, photo, routines, and care details.
- Care records, including notes, symptoms, medications, appointments, reminders, and questions you want to remember.
- Account or support information, if account creation or customer support is available and you choose to use it.
Information handled automatically
The website’s hosting provider may process basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access, to deliver and secure the site. Paw Guide does not currently place advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website.
How information is used
Paw Guide may use information to:
- provide the app’s care-tracking and organizational features;
- display the pet profiles, notes, routines, and reminders you create;
- maintain reliability, security, and app performance;
- respond to support requests; and
- meet legal obligations and protect users, Paw Guide, and others.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Paw Guide. Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
Depending on the features available in your version of Paw Guide, you may be able to view, update, export, or delete information from within the app. You can also request help by emailing pawguide@meowsandmiles.com. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Children’s privacy
Paw Guide is intended for adults managing the care of a pet and is not directed to children under 13. Paw Guide does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please email pawguide@meowsandmiles.com.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Paw Guide changes. The updated effective date will be shown at the top of this page. Where required, additional notice will be provided before material changes take effect.
